Preschool Director
I come to you as preschool director with 30 years of experience in the early childhood field - I've taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and have many years of administering an early childhood program program, including a NAEYC accredited program for eight years. My husband Russ and I have lived in Broomfield for 20 years. We enjoy the outdoors, camping, boating, and fishing. In my spare time, I love to curl up with a good novel, romance and mysteries being my favorites. I look forward to partnering with you in your child's learning and providing an environment warm with the Christian spirit where your child will learn and grow in God's love.
Angelica Carter Pre-K Teacher
I have been working in the preschool field since 1990; I have thoroughly enjoyed working in this field but I finally feel like I have found my home here at Apple Tree! I have three great children and a wonderful husband. We enjoy going to sporting events, i.e baseball and basketball and finding new and exciting family activities in and around Colorado. I love to cuddle up with a good book and enjoy a good strong cup of joe! Some of my favorite hobbies are gardening, baking (not cooking!) and reading. I am learning how to sew and my goal for 2011 is to learn the fine art of knitting! Susan Colyn Kindergarten TA

Sara Godwin Asst. Director/Pre-K Teacher This is my sixth year teaching at ATCPK and my first year as Assistant Director. My education experience was originally in the field of nursing and as an EMT. When I decided that I wanted to go back to work after being a stay at home mom, teaching seemed like a logical and exciting fit. I have loved spending my days with all of the kiddos that come through ATCPK! I am currently enrolled at Front Range Community College, taking classes to become Director Certified for a preschool facility. I have lived in the Broomfield area for the last 8 years after spending 10 years as a Navy wife, living all over the country. I have two children, Rachel who is 12 and Ian who is 10. I spend my free time hiking, camping, spending time with my family and perfecting my Guitar Hero technique! I joined ATCPK in 2008 as a TA. I hold a BA from Southern Illinois University and an associates degree in Medical Assisting. I have also spent time volunteering in my kids' classrooms and substitute teaching for BVSD. Ginger TonelliPre-K Teacher This is my second year at ATCPK and I couldn't be more excited! I love working with children and watching them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and psychology. I taught preschool and kindergarten for seven years before having my three boys, ages thirteen, twelve, and eight. Now that my youngest is in school full time, I am thrilled to get back to teaching. When my husband and I aren't attending one of our son's many sporting events, we love to spend time in the mountains, or just hanging out at home with our boys, dog, cat and two lizards.
Liz Zadrozny Toddlers/TA This is my second year as a TA at Apple Tree and my first year as a teacher at Apple Tree. Both of our children, Zach, 14, and Sydney, 10, attended Apple Tree. I grew up in Boulder and attended CSU, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising and Design. "Staging" houses to sell is what I do in my spare time. My favorite animals are dogs, especially Labrador Retrievers. If I am not spending time with my husband Jeff, and the kiddos, I enjoy beading, gardening, and organizing! Working in our church nursery for several years, providing child care in my home, and volunteering at school made me realize how much I love the preschool age. I am looking forward to seeing those smiling faces!
